Former Assistant Coach John Mukina

Coach John Mukina is a 1971 graduate of General McLane and was on GM's first Erie County League Championship team. He graduated from Edinboro State College in 1976 with an Elementary Education degree. Mr. Mukina wrestled for Edinboro from 1972-76 and placed 3rd in the PSAC Championships in 1972.

From 1989-92 he Coached the Edinboro Wrestling Club with Mike Deanna and Dan Harrison. He was an Assistant Coach at Parker Middle School in 1993 and an Assistant for General McLane High School during the 1997-98 season. John was also an assistant coach for Ed Onorato at Cathedral Prep from 1994-96, and at McDowell High School from 1999-2002. Mr. Mukina returned as an assistant coach at General McLane High School from 2003 through 2006.
