Donald Osinski wrestled from 2002-2006.
He was only able to find his way into the starting
lineup in 2002-2003 for part of the year (12 matches with a 7-5 record), since
the 2002-2003
squad was one of the best in McLane history. When Osinski was in the lineup
he made a real
impact. Donald found his way into the hearts of G.M. fans almost instantly when
he decked Prep's
district runnerup, Josh Garrity to help the Lancers clinch their first District
10 Duals title that year.
Osinski then proceeded to win more matches than any other sophomore
or junior in history (35 & 36)
and won more matches in three years than any other McLane wrestler (113). He
racked up an incredible
120 career wins (3rd most as of 2006), 58 pins and 203 takedowns. He also won
two District 10 titles
(only the 8th Lancer to win 2 or more), was a 2 time NW Regional placewinner
and two time state qualifier.
Osinski was the recipient of the 2nd Annual Tim Harrison Memorial
Scholarship Award. He was accepted
at Pitt University with a major in Civil Engineering.
